GATHER by Grand Rapids-based printmaker Todd Freeman, is a catalogue of nets drawn over the past two years. Freeman’s drawings are a careful examination of the formal qualities of industrial nets used for a variety of applications.
In GATHER, Freeman creates a portrait gallery for an iconic craft; illustrating how a simple form can be abstracted to fit so many different needs - each with their own story to tell.
Four print editions have also been produced from work in GATHER.
